Alia is part of the Class of 2022 at St. Mary’s Academy in Portland. I asked Alia why she was interested in this opportunity and I love her answer…
“I want to be an influencer model so I can help spread an encouraging and positive message. All body types and style types should be well loved and respected. people should wear what empowers them, and with my unique and somewhat fluctuating style, I hope I’ll be able to send that message to others like me. I believe I would be a good representative because I am outgoing, adventurous, and continue to push myself and others to wear what makes them feel the most confident in their own body and style.”
When asked for a few words to describe herself she shared dreamer, ever growing, an activist & bubbly. She’s a marvelous young woman and I am so happy to have her as one of my senior influencers for the year!
When asked what she is looking forward to about her senior year she responded, “I am looking forward too enjoying my time in Oregon, revisiting my favorite places, and finding some new ones too. I am excited to explore myself more, and spend time with friends. I want to put together my art portfolio, and hopefully create many art pieces I am proud of.”
